PowerGate collaborated closely with the US client to craft a solution that runs a smart subset of tests based on developer changes. Our mission was to overcome the pain points of slow automation testing and CI bottlenecks, which hinder productivity and drive-up costs.

The challenge was to enhance real-time feedback while maintaining infrastructure efficiency. By developing a system that only runs the individual test cases where developers are working, the team was successfully optimized bloated test runs, streamline CI/CD pipelines, quarantined flaky tests to minimize distractions, and accelerated more confident deployments.

The newly developed tool offers a wide range of features, including instant test feedback, dynamic smoke tests, fast track deployments, and shift left testing, which provide QA teams with the ability to detect bugs in real time. Since being launched, it has reduced test run and CI build time by 80%. Furthermore, it holds a registered patent in the scientific and technological services class.
