Nghia (Nevill) Ng.

CEO, Managing Director

Nghia has over 15 years of management experience in the software industry. He joined PowerGate Software after managing a large development team of over 300 engineers for UK and US markets for 6 years. Before that he also founded 2 other software companies which were acquired by large corporations.
Throughout his career, his roles have encompassed programming, software architecture design, project management, training, sales, marketing, and operational management where he has held a number of senior roles.
Nghia is a PMP project & program manager, Agile/Scrum master and has a strong background in customer service excellence.

Dustin H.

Head of Solution Strategy, North America

Dustin Hemesath is an experienced leader in B2B sales, startups, and growth strategies, boasting 18 years of executive-level expertise in consulting and leadership. He excels at the intersection of technology, services, and strategy, with a decade dedicated to launching and scaling startups across various industries, including sports, healthcare, and mobile technologies. Dustin is passionate about building processes from the ground up, aligning product-market fit, and developing scalable growth strategies. Notably, in 2016, he collaborated with PowerGate Software to create a contactless online and mobile ordering system for Food and Beverage Services. Following this successful partnership, he took on the role of Partnership Director at PowerGate. His core strengths encompass business and sales planning, sales training and execution, product roadmap development and management, P&L management and budgeting, as well as capital raising and financial planning.

Mark R. Smith

Strategic Solutions Partner, UK & Europe

Mark has spent 20 years designing, managing and operating international projects in the media industry, and more recently architecting multi-million dollar partnerships with major cloud vendors, developing national accounts and creating strategic value propositions for companies. He has worked for and in partnership with some of the biggest technology companies including Ericsson, Microsoft and AWS. From this comes experience in selling and delivering complex, high profile, multi-party projects.
A technologist at heart, with a degree in Electronic Engineering and Digital Communications from one of the UK’s leading universities, Mark believes we need to shift our current technology led world to one where designing businesses and solutions for the best consumer experiences comes is the key to success.
Mark’s work at Powergate is complemented by strategy value proposition and partnership advisory work with companies in the media space.

Ky V. Tran, MBA

Strategic Solutions Partner, Americas

Ky Vinh Tr. was the founder and CEO of D-Square Solutions, a Montreal, Canada based consulting and professional services which was sold in 2018. Ky Vinh holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA, Université de Sherbrooke, 2011), a postgraduate degree in Finance and Treasury (McGill University, 2002) and a Bachelor of Science degree (McGill University, 1996). He is fluent in French, English and Vietnamese.
A seasoned leader with over twenty (20) years of experience, in Project Delivery – Custom Software and App developments, in Program Management of Enterprise ERP solutions, in Strategy, Business Architecture and Business Analysis. He has worked with organizations from many different industries: Banking & Insurance, Utilities, Pharmaceuticals, Transportation & Logistics, Software development, Telecom, Retails and the Public sector, to help them focus on bringing value and amazing solutions to their customers and to their employees.

As the Partnership Development Director, Americas (USA, CANADA, Mexico) for PowerGate Software JSC., Ky Vinh will bring the real value propositions to our partners and customers to deliver their Software and App development projects.

VP of Technology

Cuong brings over 18 years of experience in software development, with a strong track record of architecting, building, and deploying large-scale systems. For the past 12 years at PowerGate Software, he has led the design and development of complex solutions for clients across the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. As a hands-on technology leader, Cuong excels at solving critical technical challenges, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and elevating team capabilities to deliver at the highest levels of expertise. His leadership has been instrumental in helping clients achieve robust, scalable, and future-ready platforms.
Prior to joining PowerGate, Cuong played a key role in developing major education platforms for the Ministry of Education, FPT Corporation, and VTC Online. His work includes the Vi-Olympic platform with over 5 million users and IOE with more than 10 million users.

Thu Ng.

Group HR Manager 

Thu is a highly experienced HR Manager with 10 years of experience in the area. She is an accomplished HR manager, especially in streamlining the talent acquisition process together with building healthy and professional corporate environment strategies. Being accustomed to working for companies in different business fields as well as international cultures with colleagues from all over the world, she has gained extensive experience and flexibility in dealing with HR situations and scenarios.

With MSc. Degree in Information Technology, Ms.Thu has strong knowledge and expertise in developing smart strategies and solutions in IT human resources management to optimize stakeholders’ benefits.
