PowerGate developed a telehealth-enabled mobile health (mHealth) platform to democratize pediatric healthcare in New Zealand, expanding access through pop-up clinics in early childhood centers, primary schools, high schools, and free walk-in clinics.
Trained digital health workers use iPad-based clinical tools to capture patient-reported outcomes (PROs), document symptoms, and securely transmit protected health information (PHI)—including images and health assessments—to a centralized digital health team and caregivers, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance through end-to-end encryption and secure data governance.
Since its launch, the platform has attracted over 50,000 users annually, driving widespread adoption. Its success also helped our client secure government funding from the New Zealand Ministry of Health to scale operations, reinforcing its impact on population health management and preventive pediatric care,
