This virtual healthcare platform enables pop-up clinics to bring healthcare to New Zealand children and is used in a number of early childhood centers and primary schools, high schools, and free walk-in clinics. There are around trained ‘digital health workers’ equipped with an iPad to take photos and ask questions about the child’s health through this mobile app. The information and images are then sent to a central digital health team and the parents or caregivers of the children.
Since the new product was released, people has shown interest in this new place every day with over 50,000 users visiting yearly. Our client also applied for the funding round from the New Zealand Ministry of Health held and got the funding to scale up the system.
